Our Story
NorthCountry Homes was founded in 1995 to build low cost homes in the North of England with an aim to help you purchase your first home, beat the rent trap, or purchase your forever family home at an affordable price.
They moved from Lincoln to Barlborough near Chesterfield, and in 2002 changed hands. In 2005 it was building more than 1,000 low cost homes a year and in that year it was subject to a takeover. By 2016 the name had disappeared. However, the people who originally founded NorthCountry continued building low cost homes elsewhere, refining their skills and continuing their dedication to low cost home ownership.
